Welcome, for everyone

I noticed in my shower the other day a small piece of plastic.

It's sole purpose was to keep my sliding-glass shower door from breaking. Too much force and BOOM, glass everywhere. So there is a tiny piece of plastic there to help buffer the impact.

That is what I made this workshop to be. A buffer to help you slow down the impact of your daily grind.

In the coming weeks we will laugh, explore, have adventures, possibly encourage hot beverage drinking (although not at the computer, that can be disastrous), and move past our obstacles.

We will exercise our eyes and our brain, but most importantly we will fall in love with photography (again), because that is a tried and true way to enjoy this craft. With love.

I'm excited to see you for our weekly live chats, consume the photography you make through our weekly assignments, and bear witness as you explore your creativity more.

This workshop is for photographers who want to kick it up a notch, discover new ways to see, and are in need of some creative therapy to reconnect with their cameras.

Get ready to jump out of the water, fish! See the world before diving back in.

Whether he is an artist or not, the photographer is a joyous sensualist, for the simple reason that the eye traffics in feelings, not in thoughts. - Walker Evans
